Electroplating equipment What are the common types of power supply? Common switching power supply has the following five types:
1、 DC generator DC generator belongs to the initial electroplating power supply, which has the advantages of stable switching power supply and great load working capacity. However, it has large energy consumption, low efficiency, large noise, poor rationality, and less application in large and medium-sized electroplating process workshops. It can only be used in small-scale taxpayer electroplating process workshops produced temporarily.
2、 Ballast Ballast is usually composed of shell, rectifier components, transformer, working voltage adjustment equipment and cooling equipment. Ballasts used in electroplating process include copper oxide ballasts, smashing ballasts, silicon rectifiers and silicon controlled rectifiers. Silicon rectifiers and silicon controlled rectifiers are now used. The ballast is more flexible and light than the DC generator. It is immediately installed on the edge of the plating tank to save conductive metal composite materials. Different routes can be used to construct DC stabilized power supplies with different wave types to consider different types of electroplating process regulations. The ballast has the advantages of high conversion efficiency, convenient adjustment, low noise and no mechanical equipment damage, but it has poor temperature resistance, small impact load and low power.
3、 Thyristor switching power supply Thyristor switching power supply shall use portable electronic circuit to adjust the working voltage, light weight, high efficiency, convenient control, reliable quality and not easy to burn. The difference between the silicon controlled rectifier and the general silicon rectifier depends on that the silicon controlled rectifier has a control pole. The on-off time of the silicon controlled rectifier is controlled according to the operating voltage of the control pole, so as to control the output operating voltage.
Not all positive ions of metal materials can accumulate out of the solution. If the adverse reaction of restoring hydrogen ions to hydrogen on the cathode plays a key role, the positive ions of metal materials cannot be dissolved on the cathode at the price of electroplating equipment. According to the test, the probability of positive ions of metal materials electrodepositing from the solution can obtain the necessary regularity from the periodic table of elements, As shown in Table 1.1. Anodic oxidation can be divided into soluble anodic oxidation and insoluble anodic oxidation. Most of the anodic oxidation is soluble anodic oxidation corresponding to the coating, for example, hot galvanizing is zinc anode, silver electroplating is silver anodic oxidation, and tin violet lead alloy is tin lead alloy anodic oxidation. However, few electroplating processes apply insoluble anodic oxidation because of the difficulty of anodic oxidation and melting, For example, platinum or titanium anodes are commonly used for acid alkaline gilding. The positive ions of the main salt of the plating solution are filled by adding the configured standard gold containing aqueous solution. The stainless steel anodizing shall be insoluble anodizing such as pure lead, lead tin aluminum alloy, lead antimony aluminum alloy, etc.
At present, the high-frequency switching power supply machines and equipment that are widely used have many advantages that thyristor switching power supply cannot match:
① It can improve the efficiency of rectifier machinery and equipment;
② Reduce the volume of the whole equipment and relieve the net weight;
③ A lot of additional sleeves and high-quality ferrite cores are saved;
④ It has selectable constant current source, constant current, constant current intensity control function;
⑤ It can ensure the precision, ripple and high efficiency within the full output range;
⑥ The allowable load start and stop also have less interference and deflection to the power supply system.
