The copper and nickel containing wastewater from the electroplating production line flows automatically into the copper and nickel containing wastewater transition pool of the wastewater treatment station through the drainage pipe network. The pool is equipped with high, medium and low water level probes and alarm devices. When the level is high, the lift pump of the copper and nickel containing wastewater transition pool starts automatically to lift the wastewater to the copper and nickel containing wastewater collection pool, which is equipped with high, medium and low water level probes and alarm devices, At high level, the lift pump of the copper nickel containing wastewater collection tank starts automatically to transport the wastewater to the copper nickel containing wastewater reaction tank, where the pH of the wastewater is adjusted to 10~10.5 by adding H2SO4 and NaOH, and the sodium hydroxide is added continuously. The intermediate pool is equipped with high, medium and low water level probes and alarm devices. When the water level is high, the lift pump of the intermediate pool starts automatically, and the wastewater is sent to the sand carbon filter for filtration. The effluent enters the precision filter and the heavy metal protection column to further absorb the residual heavy metals, and the effluent can be discharged up to the standard.
