2、 Rectifier is generally composed of shell, rectifier element, transformer, voltage regulator and cooling equipment. Rectifiers for electroplating include copper oxide rectifier, flattening rectifier, silicon rectifier and thyristor rectifier. At present, silicon rectifier and silicon controlled rectifier are mainly used. Rectifiers are more flexible and lighter than DC generators. It is directly installed beside the electroplating tank to save conductive metal materials. With different circuit structures, different waveforms of DC power supply can be obtained to meet different electroplating requirements. The rectifier has the advantages of high conversion efficiency, convenient adjustment, low noise, no mechanical wear, etc., but poor heat resistance, low impact load, and low power.
Precautions for electroplating and polishing
(1) Take out the wheels to be polished and check whether the surface marks are consistent with the defects (pits, pinholes, missing plating, insufficient brightness, endless wax removal, blistering, peeling, polishing, scorching, poor alignment, bruises, abrasive grains, roughness, deformation, etc.).

(3) When polishing with grinding wheel, drill wheel or angle grinder, the grinding wheel shall be stable. It is strictly prohibited to use grinding wheel piezoelectric power line to prevent electric shock accidents.
(4) When grinding, first select the sand paper of the required specification, stick it firmly, grasp the wheel with one hand, rotate the wheel with the other hand, and polish it back and forth freely, not too hard, until there is no coating appearance defect.
(5) The cloth drilling wheel needs both hands to polish the air and wax evenly, so that it can gently contact the working face without exerting great pressure and polish at high speed; The price of electroplating equipment should also be based on the shape and size of polished parts, and choose cloth wheels with different sizes and tapers; The main part of the cloth drilling wheel is the included angle between the spoke and the rim (other tools cannot be polished or ground at the proper position, nor can they reach the nickel front).
