What dehumidification methods are commonly used for robot electroplating equipment spraying?

With the continuous improvement of robot spraying level, various dehumidification methods have been widely used in robot spraying.


1、 Cooling and dehumidification methods


Cool the air below the dew point temperature, and the water vapor in the air condenses into water. Low humidity air can be obtained by removing and reheating condensate. The cooling source of air can be refrigerant, ice water or brine of refrigerator. It belongs to dehumidification and cooling.


Features: 1. If the surface temperature of the cooling coil is lower than 0c, the condensed water will freeze on the coil surface, which will reduce the cooling efficiency and dehumidification effect, so the stable humidity cannot be obtained. 2. In general use, the limit of cooling and dehumidification is above the dew point temperature. If the equipment is large in scale, it will increase the power consumption and operation cost.


What are the commonly used dehumidification methods for robot spraying?


2. Compression dehumidification method


The air is compressed and then cooled, and the water vapor in the air condenses into water. Low humidity air can be obtained by removing and reheating condensate. The moisture in the air is expressed by the following formula: x=0.622xps/(p-ps), x: absolute humidity kg/kg, p: absolute pressure kg/cm2abs compressed air. p: Steam partial pressure kg/cm2abs. The above formula shows that lower humidity can be obtained by increasing the compression force p of air, that is, reducing the absolute humidity x.


Features: (1) It is suitable for dehumidification of low air flow and dew point.

(2) The cost of compressed power is high.

(3) It is suitable for instrument, control and other needs of high pressure and small amount of dehumidification air.

3. Intermittent adsorbent (tower type)


Solid adsorbents (such as silica gel, screening, active gasification aluminum, zeolite, etc.) are used as fixed layers and filled in the tower (cylinder). One tower is used to absorb air moisture, and the other tower is regenerated. After a period of time, the tower was transformed, and the air circuit was changed to exchange moisture absorption and regeneration, so intermittent effect could be produced. Purify the air. The adsorbent surface is porous. The water in the air is adsorbed on the surface through capillary action, which is hygroscopic.


Features: (1) Dehumidifying air with low dew point can be obtained by using solid adsorbent.

(2) The conversion dehumidification regeneration cannot continuously obtain stable dehumidification air within a fixed time.

(3) The adsorbent needs to be replaced regularly.

(4) The pressure loss of the equipment is large.

(5) High regeneration temperature.

(6) The air flow circuit is fully closed and can be used for dehumidification of non AIR gas.
