Why? Electroplating equipment Oil removal?

Electroplating equipment manufacturer Under the electrolytic condition of the electroplating equipment, the electrochemical degreasing not only has the saponification and emulsification of chemical degreasing, but also has the electrochemical effect. The polarization of the electrode reduces the interfacial tension between the oil and solution, and the wettability of the solution on the surface of the part increases, reducing the adhesion between the oil film and the metal, making the oil stain easy to peel off and disperse into the solution for emulsification and removal.

During electrochemical degreasing, whether the product is used as anode or cathode, there is a large amount of gas on its surface. When the part is cathode (cathodic degreasing), the reduction reaction on its surface will release hydrogen; When the part is anode (anode degreasing), the oxidation reaction on its surface will precipitate oxygen.

During electrolysis, the oxygen or hydrogen released from the interface between the metal and the solution plays an emulsification role in the solution. As small bubbles are easily adsorbed on the surface of the oil film, with the increase and growth of bubbles, these bubbles tear the oil film into small oil drops and bring them to the liquid surface. At the same time, they stir the solution and accelerate the removal of oil stains on the surface of parts

 Electroplating equipment

Also called degreasing, degreasing. Before electroplating, the oil stain on the surface of parts must be removed, and the oil removal effect directly affects the electroplating quality. The grease on the workpiece surface is mainly various hydrocarbons, some of which do not react with alkali and cannot be saponifiable, so it is called non saponifiable oil. The removal of such oil can only be achieved by emulsification or dissolution; Other oils saponify with alkali, called saponified oil, which can be removed by saponification, emulsification and dissolution. Common degreasing methods include physical mechanical degreasing, organic solvent degreasing, chemical degreasing, electrochemical degreasing and the combination of the above methods.

With parts as anode or cathode, electrochemical degreasing is carried out in alkaline solution. Stainless steel plate, nickel plate, nickel plated steel plate or titanium plate are selected as the second electrode, and the process of removing the oil stain on the surface of parts under the action of DC. Electrochemical degreasing fluid is similar to alkaline chemical degreasing fluid, but it mainly relies on electrolysis to enhance the degreasing effect. Generally, electrochemical degreasing is more effective, faster and more thorough than chemical degreasing.
